IMPROVE YOUR STRENGTH


Did you know by the time you're 50 your muscle mass has declined by over 15% and continues to decline rapidly with each decade. Regular strength training can counteract this decline. The good news is you do not need to go to a gym in order to get strength benefits. 



OPTION 1 - 1 ON 1 STRENGTH SESSIONS AT CLINIC

Need more motivation? Book into a 1:1 60min session with Kerri at the Malvern East clinic where you will be supervised throughout the session to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly and efficiently. The 1 on 1 sessions are booked as 6-session blocks.
COST: $150 initial session (includes development of individual program which can also be done at home.
$100 subsequent sessions

OPTION 2 - HOME STRENGTH PROGRAM

Personalised 6 week program
1:1 60min Initial appointment to run through your home program exercises
Fortnightly check in with Kerri via phone call or email
COST: $150.00 (to be paid upon booking)

Who is it for?

Anyone wanting to improve their strength and mobility
Anyone who prefers to exercise in the comfort of their own home and is time poor or needs motivation and would prefer to have the guidance of a qualified and experienced trainer.
People who are carrying a specific injury that requires rehabilitative exercises

What’s involved?

  1. Book in for your 1:1 appointment with Kerri to go through your exercises, either in the clinic or via zoom if you cannot get into the clinic. (Prior to your appointment you will be required to fill in an online form so your goals and requirements can be taken into consideration when designing your program),.

  2. Your program will be uploaded to an app called Physiapp, the app will have video’s and pictures for each exercise (see below).

  3. To get best results you should dedicate 2-3 x 30-45min a week for your program.

HOW TO BOOK

  1. Click through to the online booking page and select the relevant Strength Program appointment.

  2. Choose a date to go through your exercises in the clinic (if you can’t get to the clinic a zoom appointment can be arranged). Please make sure you book your appointment at least 7 days prior to provide time for your program to be developed.

  3. Fill in the questionnaire you will receive in your booking confirmation email (please make sure to fill this in at least 5-7 days from your appointment to provide time for your program to be developed.


FAQ”S

  1. Can the session be claimed on Private Health Extras?
    Yes, if your Initial appointments is conducted at the clinic you can claim on your extras under myotherapy. A receipt will be emailed to you after your appointment.Zoom appointments cannot be claimed.

  2. Do you need equipment?
    It’s not essential, exercises can be developed around what you have. For the in-clinic sessions all equipment will be provided.

  3. What happens after my 6-week program?
    Ideally, you will continue a strength program long-term. You can do this yourself or sign up for another 6-week program where a new program will be developed for you.
